Medicine Buddha is also called the Healing Buddha. Medicine Buddha is blue in color and his body radiates blue light. His right hand, in the mudra of granting sublime realizations, rests on his right knee and holds a stem of the arura plant between his thumb and index finger. His left hand, in the mudra of concentration, holds a lapis lazuli bowl filled with nectar.

Chenrezig is considered the patron Bodhisattva of Tibet. He is famous in Tibetan Buddhism as the incarnation of the compassion of all the Buddhas, the Bodhisattva of Compassion.In this four-armed version, Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) sits full lotus posture (with his legs fully crossed) and his 4 arms represent the 4 Immeasurable Qualities of a Bodhisattva: compassion, love, joy & equanimity.

She is also to have mortal base in historic persons of the Nepali and Chinese princess who married the great king Srang-Tsan Gampo and credited with the introduction of Buddhism to Tibet and China. She is worshipped, because she brings all good women. One of the main Tara in this group is Aryatara.
